Ray Wood - Chairman

Ray is a specialist in bringing new technologies to market. He holds a B.Sc(Tech) Electronic Engineering, is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors. Ray is a director of Cell Therapies Pty Ltd and Irendos Pty Ltd.

Roy Adair - Director

Roy has significant experience at CEO level in the energy industry and is currently CEO of Hydro Tasmania. Roy was previously CEO of Senoko Power, Singapore's largest power generation and retail company, COO of Pacific Hydro, MD of Powergen Australia and Chief Executive of Yallourn Energy.

Roy holds a BA Hons. (Econ) and Master of Philosophy, is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants and has 15 years experience as a director of international companies.

Peter Berry – Director

Peter has been an investment banker for more than 20 years, specialising in infrastructure, energy and project financing, as well as Industry reform. Based in Australia, Peter has led teams and advised corporations and Government in transactions or assignments in Australia and New Zealand, as well as in Indonesia, Laos, China, Singapore and Thailand.

Previously, Peter practised as a corporate lawyer in both Melbourne and New York.

Dr Matthew Cuthbertson – Director

Matthew has postgraduate qualifications in both science and intellectual law. His early career was spent in advanced materials research with CSIRO and in various business/technical development roles with ICI Australia. Matthew joined the CRC for Sensor Signal and Information Processing as CEO in 2003 and later that year he was awarded a Centenary of Federation Medal for his contributions to technological Innovation in Australia. In December 2005 he was appointed CEO of the new CRC for Advanced Automotive Technology, based in Melbourne.

Joseph Younane - Director

Joe has 25+ years experience in general management, product development and marketing within multinational and start-up businesses. Currently a Director of Redfern Photonics - the commercialisation arm of the Australian Photonics CRC, Principal of Technology Venture Resources and Member - Advisory Board of the Victorian Photonics Network. Joe holds a B.Sc., B.E. (Elec.) and MBA.
